    If you live outside of Princeton and are a current resident of Mercer County, we are working with Arm in Arm and Homefront to provide Rental Assistance. If you need help paying back rent, apply here:

    Homefront: Leave a message at at 609-989-9417 ext 141 to start the screening process to determine if you’re eligible for rental assistance. Please leave your name and phone number so we can return your call. We make return calls in order as quickly as we can.

  • SECURITY DEPOSIT ASSISTANCE

    Security deposits are paid directly to the landlord. Clients are eligible for this service once every two years. We currently are accepting applications for both Princeton and Non-Princeton residents of Mercer County, NJ.

  • TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

    HIP provides transitional housing to low-income working families and individuals facing homelessness, typically for about 12 to 24 months. We provide clients with a safe home in one of 8 townhomes managed by HIP. The transitional housing program also includes wraparound support services coordinated through a case manager with MSW, LCSW credentials.

    Applications are held on a waiting list and reviewed as units become available.
