Our Mission

Housing Initiatives of Princeton is dedicated to transitioning working families and individuals who are homeless or facing imminent homelessness to permanent housing and sustained self-sufficiency.

Description:

Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP) is a 501 (c) (3) transitional housing organization that started assisting families in 2004. HIP achieves its mission through the procurement and coordination of resources of member congregations, partner agencies, concerned individuals and businesses, Foundations, and Charitable Trusts. Transitional housing is provided to families and individuals for twelve to twenty-four months along with individualized social services needed for them to succeed on their own and transition to permanent housing.
