• For your next house party, ask guests to make a donation to HIP in lieu of a hostess gift;
• Ask your book or garden club to consider HIP for its community service project;
• Pledge to host a rent party or decorate a room at Prescott House (planning info available); or
• Use your unique talents and prestige to create a meaningful way to support HIP.

This Task Force brings together knowledgeable community members to help HIP secure two additional rental units by year-end 2009. We invite you to join this effort and contribute your skills, experience, and creative ideas about ways to provide affordable housing for low-wage workers in the Princeton area.

Other opportunities to volunteer include helping HIP with:

• Projects and Events, such as refreshing an apartment when a client graduates, helping to host, plan and/or execute a fundraiser;
• Pro bono services, there are occasions when a client needs a professional service such as legal counsel, dental work, or educational development;
• Advocating for affordable housing, particularly for very low and low-income workers.
