From the beginning, Housing Initiatives of Princeton (HIP) has been a community effort. Individuals, congregations, businesses, foundations and trusts have combined efforts to assist our ever-growing circle of neighbors in need. You, too, can help by making a Tax deductible contribution via Check or PayPal!
HIP is an all volunteer organization. Your donations will help offset the cost of operating and maintaining Prescott House, our case manager’s services, and the rent HIP pays for the two apartments. For example:
- $1400 = a month’s rent
- $323 = a week’s rent
- $46 = a day’s rent

As families move in and out of the apartments, we may need:
- Items for the kitchen such as (pots, pans, complete set of dishes, glasses, and flatware)
- Counter-top appliances in excellent condition
- Furnishings scaled for an apartment (small dresser, small wood tables, lamps)
- New bedding (full and twin sheets, blankets, quilts)
- New computer and printer
